Maintenance work between Donkerhoek and eMalahleni may cause delays

TRAC has appointed a contractor who will mill and replace fatigued asphalt, and remove excessive rutting between the Donkerhoek Load Control Centre (N4/2km 0,0) to the Swartbosch interchange near eMalahleni/Witbank (N4/3km 29). Work will be undertaken on the east- and westbound carriage ways.

• The above construction will start from 1 September 2011 and should take approximately 3 months to completion.
• Most of the work will be done in the slow lane. 
• LANE RESTRICTIONS will apply and may cause delays during peak periods.
